Joyor T10 - FAQs
To learn more about Joyor E-Scooter, please browse our FAQs.
Can the JOYOR T12 remove the speed limit?
Yes, the speed limit on the JOYOR T12 can be manually unlocked.
- Factory Setting: By default, the scooter is factory-restricted to 25 km/h to strictly comply with European micro-mobility road regulations.
- Unlocked Top Speed: Once unlocked, the 800W motor (1000W peak) can achieve a top speed of up to 45 km/h.
Note: Speed unlocking is intended for off-road riding or use on private property. Please ensure you comply with your local regional traffic laws when riding on public roads.
What is the maximum speed of the JOYOR T12 , and does it align with European road rules?
Yes, the JOYOR T12 comes factory-limited to a maximum speed of 25 km/h, strictly aligning with micro-mobility regulations across most European countries for legal street and cycle lane use.
For off-road riding or use on private property, the speed limit can be unlocked to access the full potential of its 800W motor (1000W peak), reaching top speeds up to 45 km/h. (Please check your local regional laws regarding speed compliance on public roads.)
What is the actual range of the JOYOR T12, and what factors affect it?
The JOYOR T12 offers an official range of up to 55 km per charge (48V 13Ah battery), with a real-world range typically between 35 km and 55 km.
Actual mileage varies depending on:
- Rider Weight: Frame supports up to 150 kg max load.
- Riding Speed: Higher speeds or unlocked mode (≤45 km/h) consume more power.
- Terrain & Slope: Steep inclines demand more motor output than flat roads.
- Weather & Tire Pressure: Cold temperatures and low tire pressure lower efficiency.
Tip: Track your live battery level via the Smart Life App or Tuya Smart App.
What's the maximum weight capacity?
The JOYOR T12 electric scooter has a maximum weight capacity of 265 lbs (120 kg).
For optimal performance, safety, and battery life, we recommend not exceeding this weight limit. Excessive load may affect acceleration, braking, and tire lifespan.
